Masami Akita
Masami Akita (jap. 秋田 昌美 Akita Masami; * 19. Dezember 1956 in der Präfektur Tokio) ist ein bekannter Japanoise-Musiker und Autor. International bekannt wurde er vor allem durch sein 1979 in Tokio gegründetes Noise-Projekt Merzbow.

Merzbow
Merzbow est le pseudonyme utilisé par le musicien japonais Masami Akita (秋田昌美) (né en 1956) pour la plupart de ses enregistrements de musique bruitiste et expérimentale. Extrêmement prolifique, il a publié environ 300 enregistements (en CDs, vinyles ou cassettes) depuis 1979.

Merzbow
Merzbow (japanska メルツバウ) är artistnamnet för Masami Akita (秋田昌美, Akita, Masami) född 1956 i Tokyo i Japan. Merzbow är den artist som har betytt mest för genren noise. Han har gjort oerhört många CDs, LPs och kassettband sedan tidigt 1980-tal.
