Mera Luna

The M'era Luna Festival is an alternative music festival. It annually takes place in Hildesheim, Germany on the second weekend of every August.The show is held at Flugplatz Hildesheim-Drispenstedt, a former British Army airbase.The M'era Luna includes camping facilities and has two stages; one, a large rock festival style structure, erected for the show each year and the other, a former aircraft hangar. There have been some complaints about the acoustics in the hangar venue. It also features DJ sets on Friday and Saturday evening.

Das M’era Luna Festival ist ein seit 2000 von der Firma FKP Scorpio Konzertproduktionen GmbH veranstaltetes Musikfestival. Das M’era Luna findet jährlich am zweiten Augustwochenende auf dem Flughafengelände in Hildesheim statt. Das Festival entstand aus dem Zillo-Festival, welches zuvor an diesem Ort stattfand, nachdem sich Zillo und die Veranstalter entschieden hatten, getrennte Wege zu gehen.

M'era Luna - muzyczny festiwal mający swoją siedzibę w niemieckim Hildesheim – dość dużym uniwersyteckim ośrodku, położonym około 30 kilometrów na południowy wschód od Hanoweru. Mieści się tam ogromna, dawna brytyjska baza lotnicza (obecnie teren należy do Lufthansy), na terenie której odbywał się kiedyś festiwal Zillo. Festiwal propaguje muzykę z gatunków: metal, rock oraz electro.

M’era Luna is een tweedaags festival en het vervolg op het Duitse Zillo-festival (van een groot alternatief muziekblad in Duitsland).Het festival is op zaterdag en zondag. Vrijdagavond en zaterdagavond zijn in een 2e hangar discoavonden met gothic, electro, ebm en instrustrialmuziek, georganiseerd door Sonic SeducerHet festival is afgezien van de naam hetzelfde van opzet als zijn voorganger en vindt plaats op het vliegveld van Hildesheim (Nedersaksen – Noord-Duitsland). Op dit vliegveld staat een buitenpodium (de Hauptbühne) en in een hangar een binnenpodium. Het festival heeft opvallend veel succes in zijn thuisland en is met zijn meer dan 22.000 bezoekers één van de grootste festivals op de 'Schwarze Szene'.
