Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics
The Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik ("MPI for Nuclear Physics" or MPIK for short) is a research institute in Heidelberg, Germany. The institute, founded in 1958, is one of the 80 institutes of the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (Max Planck Society), an independent, non-profit research organization. The institute's research areas are, among others: nuclear physics, particle physics, astrophysics and atmospheric physics.

Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik
Das Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik (MPIK) hat seinen Sitz am Fuß des Königstuhls in Heidelberg. Es wurde 1958 gegründet aus dem Institut für Physik im Max-Planck-Institut für medizinische Forschung. Das MPIK beschäftigt sich mit kernphysikalischer Grundlagenforschung und der Anwendung auf kosmische Physik und kosmische Chemie.
