Matthew (Matt) Moore Hardy beter bekend als Matt Hardy is een Amerikaanse professionele worstelaar bij de WWE. Matt werd geboren op 23 september 1974 te Cameron, North Carolina. In 1992 maakte hij zijn debuut in het worstelen. Matt was toen pas 19 jaar en samen met zijn broer Jeff Hardy die op dat moment pas 16 jaar was begonnen ze samen aan hun carrière.
