Matt Groening

Matthew Abram Groening (born February 15, 1954 in Portland, Oregon; his family name is pronounced , rhymes with raining) is an Emmy Award-winning American cartoonist (Life in Hell) and the creator of the animated series The Simpsons and Futurama.

BiografiaGli studi e gli inizi Durante le scuole superiori fu eletto presidente del corpo degli studenti (una sorta di rappresentante d'istituto), ma venne privato della sua carica in seguito ad un tentativo di modificare la costituzione della scuola, per poter diventare un presidente a vita con pieni poteri. Si è laureato all'Evergreen State College ad Olympia, Washington.
