Variety of methods characterized by the use of "marmas," also called Adankals, pressure-points, reflex points, and vital points. Marmas are hundreds of areas on the surface of the body that nadis (alleged "pranic" channels, purported carriers of prana or "bio-energy") supposedly join to organs and nonadjacent areas.
