Mannschaft

The German national football team is the football team representing the country of Germany in international competition since 1908. It is governed by the German Football Association DFB (Deutscher Fußball-Bund) which was founded in 1900. From 1950 to 1990, the team was also informally called West Germany in English, as since World War II, the DFB is based in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) which was commonly referred to as West Germany from 1949 to 1990. The DFB continues to field the German national team that had been fully reinstated by FIFA after the 1950 FIFA World Cup, retaining all records and traditions. Under Allied occupation and division, two other separate "national" teams had also been recognized by FIFA, the French-controlled Saarland team (1950-1956), and the Soviet-controlled East German team (1952-1990). Both have been absorbed; the official name and code "Germany FR (FRG)" has been shortened again to "Germany (GER)" since 1990.

L'équipe d'Allemagne de football est constituée par une sélection des meilleurs joueurs allemands sous l'égide de la DFB. Cet organisme, fédération de l'Allemagne unifiée avant la création de la République démocratique allemande, n'avait autorité que sur le football de la RFA de 1949 à 1990 et a ensuite repris son rôle pan-allemand. Pendant son existence, l'équipe nationale est-allemande était sous l'autorité de sa propre Fédération, la Fédération d'Allemagne de l'Est de football. La présente page ne traite donc que de l'équipe de RFA pendant les années de séparation.

Die Deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft ist eine vom Bundestrainer getroffene Auswahl deutscher Fußballspieler. Sie repräsentiert den Deutschen Fußball-Bund (DFB) auf internationaler Ebene, zum Beispiel in Freundschaftsspielen gegen die Auswahlmannschaften anderer nationaler Verbände, aber auch bei der Europameisterschaft des europäischen Kontinentalverbandes UEFA oder der Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft der FIFA.

Reprezentacja Niemiec w piłce nożnej trzykrotnie zdobywała Puchar Świata (1954, 1974 i 1990) i tyle razy mistrzostwo Europy (1972, 1980 i 1996). Od 1904 roku jest członkiem FIFA, a od 1954 – UEFA. W 1949 roku nastąpił podział Niemiec na Republikę Federalną Niemiec i Niemiecką Republikę Demokratyczną. Przez czterdzieści kolejnych lat istniała więc także druga niemiecka drużyna narodowa.Przed wojną Niemcy, poza brązowym medalem z Mundialu 1934, nie odnosili dużych sukcesów. Na kolejnych mistrzostwach świata, mimo obecności w składzie wielu Austriaków, drużyna jedyny raz w historii odpadła już po pierwszej fazie turnieju.

La Nazionale di calcio tedesca (ted. Deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft) è la rappresentativa calcistica della Germania ed è posta sotto l'egida della Deutscher Fussball-Bund. È una delle Nazionali di calcio più forti e più titolate della storia. Si è aggiudicata per tre volte sia i campionati mondiali sia quelli europei. Nelle medesime competizioni è giunta a disputare la partita finale rispettivamente sette e cinque volte. In entrambi i casi si tratta di un record. Inoltre è arrivata tra le prime quattro undici volte al Mondiale e sei volte all'Europeo.
