Manila Bay

Manila Bay is one of the finest natural harbors in the world which serves the Port of Manila (on Luzon), in the Philippines. The entrance is 19 km wide and expands to a width of 48 km. Mariveles, in the province of Bataan, is an anchorage just inside the northern entrance and Sangley Point is the former location of Cavite Naval Base.

La baie de Manille est un port naturel qui abrite le port de Manille sur l'île de Luzon aux Philippines. L'entrée fait 19 km de large et la baie plus de 48 km de profondeur. Elle est fermée au nord par la péninsule montagneuse de Bataan où se trouve le port de Mariveles, situé eu nord, juste après l'entrée de la baie et Sanglay Point qui hébergea une importante base navale américaine du Pacifique. Au sud, se trouve la province de Cavite.

Die Manilabucht ist der Hafen und der Anschluss an die Stadt Manila auf Luzon in den Philippinen. Die Breite beträgt am Anfang 19 km und dehnt sich bis zu 48 km aus. Mariveles ist ein Ankerplatz im Norden und Sangley Point ist eine weitere Stelle der Cavite Naval Base. Im Norden und Süden der Bucht befinden sich weitere kleine Häfen.

Zatoka Manilska - zatoka Morza Południowochińskiego, głęboko wcinająca się w wyspę Luzon w Archipelagu Filipińskim. Nad zatoką leży stolica Filipin, Manila. Wejście do zatoki ma 19 km szerokości, a maksymalna jej szerokość wynosi około 48 km. W wejściu znajduje się wyspa Corregidor. Zatoka jest oddzielona od otwartego morza przez półwysep Bataan.
