Magwi
Magwi, also Magwe, is a district located in the Sudanese state of East Equatoria. It is bordered by Central Equatoria to the west and the Ugandan district of Gulu to the south. The White Nile enters the district near the town of Nimule, before flowing north along the eastern border. The county is divided into two payams: Magwe and Pageri. Magwi town is the district seat, comprising one small building. The county is a located on the major road connecting Gulu to the south to Torit towards the north.. Much of the population is Acholi, the only significant Acholi population outside of Acholiland in Uganda.
