Magadi

Magadi is a town in Bangalore Rural district in the Indian state of Karnataka.Magadi was capital of Kempe Gowda who built Bangalore. It is also the setting of the true story "Old Munnusamy and the man-eater of Magadi" by Kenneth Anderson (writer). Since the days of Kenneth Anderson, the wildlife in Magadi has been greatly reduced due to poaching and habitat loss.
