Madhouse
MADHOUSE Ltd. (株式会社 マッドハウス, Kabushiki-gaisha Maddohausu) è uno studio d'animazione giapponese fondato nel 1972 da ex animatori dello studio Mushi Productions (fondato da Osamu Tezuka) in seguito al fallimento di questo; tra di essi vi sono Osamu DezakiRintaroYoshiaki Kawajiri e Masao Maruyama. Fra gli anni ottanta e i primi anni novanta la compagnia si è dedicata al mercato degli OAV, ma i suoi lavori più noti appartengono tutti al mondo delle serie TV, fra cui Jenny la tennista (Ace o nerae!), prima serie prodotta nel 1973. Fra le più celebri opere dello studio Trigun, Alexander, Ninja Scroll, Di Gi Charat e la co-produzione di Animatrix. Attualmente conta circa 120 dipendenti.
