The pascal (symbol: Pa) is the SI derived unit of pressure or stress (also: Young's modulus and tensile strength). It is a measure of perpendicular force per unit area i.e. equivalent to one newton per square meter or one Joule per cubic meter. In everyday life, the pascal is perhaps best known from meteorological air-pressure reports, where it occurs in the form of hectopascal (1 hPa = 100 Pa). In other contexts, the kilopascal is more commonly used, for example on bicycle tire labels. One hectopascal corresponds to about 0.1 nd one kilopascal to about 1% of atmospheric pressure (near sea level).

Le Mouvement pour l'autonomie (en italien, Movimento per l'Autonomia, MPA) est un parti politique italien, créé par le député européen de Catane, Raffaele Lombardo le 30 avril 2005. Il se veut modéré, favorable à l'autonomie du Mezzogiorno et au méridionalisme. La Sicile se veut le centre électoral du mouvement, mais il présente des listes dans toutes les régions où la Ligue du Nord n'en présente pas, en étant apparenté au Peuple de la liberté de Silvio Berlusconi lors des élections générales italiennes de 2008, où il obtient huit députés, pour la plupart Siciliens, ainsi que deux sénateurs.

Das Pascal ist eine abgeleitete SI-Einheit des Drucks sowie der Spannung in der Werkstoffprüfung. Sie wurde nach Blaise Pascal benannt. Sie ist definiert als1 Pa = 1 kg/(m·s²) = 1 N/m². Ein Pascal ist also der Druck, den eine Kraft von einem Newton auf eine Fläche von einem Quadratmeter ausübt.
