Teddy Bear is the English title of Miś, a 1980 Polish film directed by Stanisław Bareja. Teddy Bear, along with Rejs (The Cruise), put contemporary Polish society on the couch and subjected it to thorough examination with a fearless, acerbic and surreal sense of humor. Rysiek (Stanisław Tym, who also wrote the screen play), the shrewd manager of a state-sponsored sports club, has to get to London before his ex-wife Irena (Barbara Burska) does in order to collect an enormous sum of money from a savings account the two used to share in happier days.

Miś – tytuł uznawanego za kultowy filmu z okresu PRL reżyserowanego przez Stanisława Bareję. Rok produkcji (P.P. Film Polski): 1980, film barwny- negatyw: Eastman Kodak 35 mm, premiera: 4 maja 1981 roku.Ryszard Ochódzki (zwany Misiem) jest prezesem klubu sportowego "Tęcza". Ma wyjechać do Londynu, zostaje jednak zatrzymany, ponieważ z jego paszportu wyrwano kilka kartek. Film pełen intryg i związanych z tym zdarzeniem komplikacji, pokazany w przejaskrawionym obrazie Polski końca lat 70. i początku lat 80. XX wieku.

Il Mis è un fiume a carattere torrentizio della provincia di Belluno. Nasce presso il Passo Cereda, in Trentino, ai piedi delle Pale di San Martino (comune di Sagron Mis).Scorre poi verso sud percorrendo il Parco nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi, scavando una stretta vallata detta Canale del Mis. Poco prima di Sospirolo, alla fine del canale, forma il lago omonimo. Si getta infine nel Cordevole all'altezza di Oregne, sempre in comune di Sospirolo. Dal corso d'acqua prendono nome due paesi, l'uno in Trentino, capoluogo di Sagron Mis, l'altro in provincia di Belluno, frazione di Sospirolo.

Een Mis (Heilig Misoffer, Eucharistieviering, soms: Goddelijke Liturgie) is de westerse benaming voor de dienst van het sacrament van de Eucharistie in de Katholieke Kerk, de Oud-katholieke Kerken, de Oosters-Orthodoxie en (soms) de Lutherse Kerk en Anglicaanse Kerk. De Mis is de onbloedige offerande van het Nieuw Verbond, waarin het lichaam en het bloed van Christus, onder de gedaanten van brood en wijn, door de priester aan het altaar aan God worden opgedragen.
