Mönchengladbach Hauptbahnhof
Der Hauptbahnhof Mönchengladbach ist vor dem Rheydter Hauptbahnhof der größte Bahnhof Mönchengladbachs und bildet mit dem ZOB Hauptbahnhof/Europaplatz den zentralen Verkehrsknotenpunkt der Stadt. Seit Dezember 2009 verkehren wieder Züge des Fernverkehrs, des Weiteren halten im Mönchengladbacher Hauptbahnhof planmäßig zahlreiche Linien des Nahverkehrs. Der Bahnhof wurde 1851 erbaut, gehört der Bahnhofskategorie 3 an und ist ein Kreuzungsbahnhof.
