Lori dialects

Luri, Haute-Corse. Luri or Lori (,
IPA: /loriː/, /luriː/) is a collection of
southwestern Iranian dialects which are mainly spoken by the
Lurs and
Bakhtiari people in the
Iranian provinces of
Lorestan,
Ilam,
Chahar Mahaal and Bakhtiari,
Kohkiluyeh and Buyer Ahmad and parts of
Khuzestan,
Fars,
Markazi,
Kermanshah,
Isfahan, and
Hamadan. Some linguists catgorize the Luri dialects as a sub-group of Persian dialects. Some other sources such as
SIL Ethnologue categorize them as the dialects of a distinct language, close to Persian, and call it Luri language.

Lurisch (: lorī) ist ein
Dialektcluster dem
persischen nah verwandt, der zur Südwestgruppe der iranischen Sprachen gehِrt, zu der auch Persisch gerechnet wird. Bis zum Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts waren weniger als 150 Wِrter der Sprache im Westen bekannt und Lurisch wurde noch 1901 als
kurdischer Dialekt betrachtet, vor allem, da tatsنchlich kurdische Stنmme in
Lorestan leben. Erst ein Aufsatz O. Manns im Jahre 1904 deckte die „tiefergehende Scheidung“ von Kurdisch und Lurisch auf. Lurisch findet sich regional parallel zu
Bachtiarisch und Laki.
