Lounge music
Lounge music (ang. Lounge - hall, poczekalnia) – określenie stosowane do muzyki granej np. w hallach, barach lub kasynach hoteli.
Lounge music zazwyczaj wykonywana jest przez grającego na pianinie/fortepianie wokalistę i jednego, dwóch muzyków towarzyszących. Typowe utwory grane przez Lounge musicians to wszelkiego rodzaju standardy oraz covery przebojów, przede wszystkim popowych. Jest to jedna z odmian downtempo. Łączy w sobie elementy jazzu, muzyki etnicznej, rocka, dubu, ambientu, jungle i hip-hopu. Przedstawiciele: Thievery Corporation, De Phazz, Saint Germain.
