The North Tower of the
World Trade Center in
New York City was completed in
1972 at a height of 417 m (1368 feet), distinguishable from the south tower (Two World Trade Center) by the huge white broadcast antenna tower on the roof. Its address was "One World Trade Center". It was destroyed, together with the south tower, in the
September 11, 2001 attacks. The North Tower was the first tower struck in the attacks and the second to collapse.
