Lippe
Lippe is a Kreis (district) in the east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Neighboring districts are Herford, Minden-Lübbecke, Höxter, Paderborn, Gütersloh, and district-free Bielefeld, which forms the region Ostwestfalen-Lippe.

Lippe
Die Lippe (lat. Labium oris, „Lippe des Mundes“) ist ein stets paarweise vorkommendes Organ am Mund des Menschen und vieler Tiere (dort oft als Lefze bezeichnet). Die beiden Lippen sind weich, wulstig und sehr beweglich und dienen primär der Nahrungsaufnahme und als Tastorgan für aufgenommene Gegenstände.

Kreis Lippe
Der Kreis Lippe ist ein Kreis im Regierungsbezirk Detmold (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) im Nordosten Nordrhein-Westfalens. Kreisstadt ist Detmold. Das Kreisgebiet entspricht weitgehend dem ehemaligen Land Lippe und bildet aus historischen Gründen neben Westfalen und dem Rheinland den dritten Landesteil des Bundeslandes Nordrhein-Westfalen. Der historisch namensgebende Fluss Lippe berührt den Kreis nicht.

Kreis Lippe är ett distrikt i den nordöstra delen av Nordrhein-Westfalen. Lippe är delen av Weserbergland och ligger på västra siden av floden Weser. Det tillhör regeringsdistriktet Detmold och har 357852 invånare.
