Lillehammer

Lillehammer is a town and municipality in the county of Oppland, Norway.The town of Lillehammer was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The rural municipality of Fåberg was merged with Lillehammer January 1, 1964.The city centre is a well-preserved late 19th century concentration of wooden houses, which enjoys a picturesque location overlooking the northern part of lake Mjøsa and the river Lågen, surrounded by mountains. The main street is excellent for people-watching, shopping and dining.

Lillehammer (Klein Hamar) ist eine Stadt in Norwegen. Sie liegt rund 180 km nördlich von Oslo, am Nordufer des Mjøsa-Sees im Gebirgstal Gudbrandsdalen. Sie wurde mit der Ausrichtung XVII. Olympischen Winterspielen 1994 weltweit bekannt. Die Stadt war in der Folge auch Austragungsort einer Reihe weiterer bedeutender Sportveranstaltungen wie zum Beispiel der Handball-Europameisterschaft 2008.

Lillehammer è un comune e una città della Norvegia centrale situata nella contea di Oppland, della quale è capoluogo amministrativo. Ha ricevuto lo status di città nel 1842.Il centro della cittadina è costituito da un agglomerato di case di legno del XIX secolo molto ben conservate ed è in una posizione dalla quale si gode di una bella vista sul lago Mjøsa e sul fiume Lågen.
