Lí Ban is an "Otherworldly woman" from Irish Mythology, best known as the sister of the sea goddess Fand, and perhaps an early sea deity herself. She appears in the the Irish tale Serglige Con Culainn (The Wasting Sickness of Cúchulainn), first as a sea bird, and then as an avenging goddess.In Serglige Con Culainn she acts as a messenger and mediator. She and Láeg, the charioteer and companion of Cú Chulainn, work together to see that Cú Chulainn is healed in exchange for his aid in Fand's battle in the Otherworld.

Le Liban (, Lubnän), officiellement République libanaise est un pays du Proche-Orient, en grande majorité montagneux. Il partage ses frontières avec deux pays, la Syrie à l'est, sur 376 km et Israël au Sud sur 79 km . Il est bordé par la mer Méditerranée, à l'ouest, avec 240 km de côtes. Beyrouth est la capitale du Liban. La langue officielle est l'arabe, cependant, la moitié des Libanais sont francophones et la langue anglaise est largement utilisée. La monnaie nationale est la livre libanaise.

Libán (deutsch Liban) ist eine Stadt mit 1.648 Einwohnern (1. Januar 2004) in Tschechien. Die landwirtschaftlich-industriell geprägte Stadt Libán liegt in 238 m ü.M. im südlichen Teil des Okres Jicín 15 km südwestlich von Jicín.
