Latvia
Latvia , officially the Republic of Latvia , is a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is bordered to the north by Estonia (border length 343 km), to the south by Lithuania (588 km), to the east by the Russian Federation (276 km), to the southeast by Belarus (141 km), and shares maritime borders to the west with Sweden. With 2,067,887 inhabitants and a territory of it is one of the least populous and least densely populated countries of the European Union. The capital of Latvia is Riga. The official language is Latvian and the currency is called Lats (Ls). The country has a temperate seasonal climate.

Lettland (lettisch Latvija) ist ein Staat in Nordeuropa, im Zentrum des Baltikums gelegen. Es grenzt im Süden an Litauen, im Südosten an Weißrussland, im Osten an Russland, im Norden an Estland und im Westen an die Ostsee.

Lettonie
La Lettonie, ou la République de Lettonie pour les usages officiels (Latvijas Republika ou simplement Latvija en letton), est un pays d’Europe du Nord situé sur la rive orientale de la mer Baltique. C’est l’un des trois pays baltes, le pays est bordé par la Lituanie au sud et par l’Estonie au nord. La Lettonie a aussi des frontières terrestres à l’est avec la Russie et au sud-est avec la Biélorussie.

Letónia
A é uma das três Repúblicas Bálticas. Limita a norte com a Estónia, a leste com a Rússia, a sul com a Bielorrússia e a Lituânia e a oeste com o Mar Báltico. Banhada pelas águas geladas do mar Báltico, a Letônia tem litoral pantanoso, com dunas de areia e importantes portos pesqueiros. Riga é a maior capital das repúblicas bálticas. No bairro histórico de Riga misturam-se edificações medievais e prédios art nouveau, declaradas patrimônio da humanidade. As florestas cobrem quase metade do território, o que favorece o turismo ecológico, em especial na cidade de Sigulda, rodeada de cavernas, bosques e corredeiras.
