Johann Georg Christian Lehmann
Johann Georg Christian Lehmann (February 251792 Haselau bei Uetersen, Holstein –  February 121860 Hamburg) was a German botanist.Lehmann studied medicine in Copenhagen and Goettingen, obtained a doctorate in medicine in 1813 and a doctorate in philosophy from he University of Jena in 1814. He spent the rest of his life as professor of physics and natural sciences at the "Gymnasium Academicum" in Hamburg and its head librarian.
