Lebor Gabála Érenn (The Book of the Taking of Ireland) is the Middle Irish title of a loose collection of poems and prose narratives recounting the mythical origins and history of the Irish race from the creation of the world down to the Middle Ages. An important record of the folkloric history of Ireland, it was compiled and edited by an anonymous scholar in the 11th century, and might be described as a mélange of mythology, legend, history, folklore, Christian historiography, politically inspired embellishment and some pure invention. It is usually known in English as The Book of Invasions or The Book of Conquests, and in Modern Irish as Leabhar Gabhála Éireann.

Le Lebor Gabála Érenn est l’un des récits irlandais majeurs de l’époque médiévale. Ce « livre » décrit l’invasion de l'île par six peuples mythiques inhumains, avant l’arrivée et le règne terrestre des Gaëls. Jahrhundert kompilierte mittelirische Sammlung verschiedener Erzählungen und Gedichte, die eine mythische Geschichte Irlands erzählen, die auf einer Kombination von biblischen Erzählungen, Fragmenten antiker Autoren, lokalen Überlieferungen und gelehrter Erfindung beruht. Lebor Gabála Érenn (czyt. 'l´evər gə'va:lə 'e:r´ən´, Księga Przechwyceń Irlandii) to środkowo-iryjski tytuł luźnego zbioru gawęd pisanych wierszem i prozą, opowiadających o mitycznym pochodzeniu i historii mieszkańców Irlandii począwszy od stworzenia świata aż do średniowiecza. Ta "pseudohistoria" Irlandii została opracowana i zredagowana przez nieznanego uczonego w XI wieku i bez przesady można ją opisać jako zlepek mitologii, legend, historii, folkloru, chrześcijańskiej historiografii, politycznej propagandy i bezczelnych kłamstw. Znana jest zwykle pod tytułem Księga Inwazji lub Księga Podbojów, natomiast we współczesnym języku irlandzkim pod tytułem Leabhar Gabhála na hÉireann.
