Permission
Permission, permis, är en kortare ledighet från till exempel militärtjänst, från fängelsestraff eller från sluten psykiatrisk vård. Kan även avse betald ledighet från arbete i vissa fall, exempelvis arbetstagarens deltagande i närståendes begravning.
