Le Havre
Le Havre is a city in the Seine-Maritime department of the Haute-Normandie region in France. It is situated in north-western France, on the right bank of the mouth of the river Seine on the English Channel. Le Havre is the most populous commune in the Haute-Normandie region, although the total population of the greater Le Havre conurbation is smaller than that of Rouen. It is also the second largest subprefecture in France (after Reims). Its port is the second busiest in France (after that of Marseille). Since 1974 it has been the see of the diocese of Le Havre.

Le Havre
Le Havre [] ist eine Stadt im Nordwesten Frankreichs in der Region Haute-Normandie im Département Seine-Maritime (76). Am rechten Ufer der Seine gelegen verfügt Le Havre über den zweitgrößten Hafen Frankreichs (nach Marseille), zu dem ein Yachthafen mit 1050 Liegeplätzen gehört. Le Havre hat auch einen Flughafen. Zahlenmäßig ist Le Havre die größte Stadt der Normandie, flächenmäßig die zweite nach Rouen.

Le Havre
Le Havre est une ville du nord-ouest de la France située sur la rive droite de l'estuaire de la Seine. Administrativement, cette commune, située dans la région de Haute-Normandie, est avec Dieppe l'une des deux sous-préfectures du département de la Seine-Maritime. Le Havre est également chef-lieu de canton et siège d'un évêché. Il s'agit de la commune la plus peuplée de la Normandie et la plus grande sous-préfecture française. Cependant, la ville perd des habitants depuis 1975 et l'agglomération havraise se situe derrière celle de Rouen en nombre d'habitants. Le taux de chômage est relativement élevé et la zone industrialo-portuaire fournit l'essentiel des emplois du secteur privé. Le port du Havre est le deuxième de France derrière celui de Marseille.

Hawr
Hawr (fr. Le Havre) to miejscowość i gmina we Francji, w regionie Górna Normandia, w departamencie Seine-Maritime.
Według danych na rok 1990 gminę zamieszkiwały 195 854 osoby, a gęstość zaludnienia wynosiła 4,172 osoby/km² (wśród 1421 gmin Górnej Normandii Havre plasuje się na 1. miejscu pod względem liczby ludności, natomiast pod względem powierzchni na miejscu 2.).
Le Havre ma charakter miasta przemysłowego. Znajduje się tutaj największy port we Francji (5 co do wielkości w Europie) , a także jedna z kilku największych francuskich rafinerii - Raffinerie de Normandie (Total - Elf). W 1984 powstał tutaj uniwersytet o charakterze międzynarodowym, gdzie naukę pobierają studenci z całego świata. Ich liczba wynosi około 7000. Ze względu na ogromne zniszczenia podczas drugiej wojny światowej w mieście w zasadzie nie ma żadnych zabytków (poza Katedrą Notre-Dame przy rue de Paris) . Miasto zostało niemalże zbudowane na nowo w latach 50 w stylu modernistycznym. Co ciekawe, jego centrum , jako jedyne nowoczesne na świecie, zostało wpisane na listę dziedzictwa UNESCO.
