Lawrence Klein
Lawrence Robert Klein (born September 14, 1920) is an American economist. For his work in creating computer models to forecast economic trends in the field of econometrics at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1980. Specifically "for the creation of economic models and their application to the analysis of economic fluctuations and economic policies." Due to his efforts, such models have become widespread among economists.

Lawrence Klein
Lawrence Robert Klein (* 14. September 1920) ist ein US-amerikanischer Wirtschaftswissenschaftler. Er erhielt 1980 den Preis für Wirtschaftswissenschaften der schwedischen Reichsbank in Gedenken an Alfred Nobel in Anerkennung seiner Forschung zu computergestützten ökonometrischen Modellen und deren Anwendung auf die Analyse von Konjunkturzyklen und die Wirtschaftspolitik.

Lawrence Klein
Lawrence Robert Klein (ur. 14 września 1920 w Omaha, Nebraska) - ekonomista amerykański, laureat Nagrody Nobla 1980.

Studiował na Uniwersytecie Kalifornijskim w Berkeley, w 1944 obronił doktorat w Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Wykładał m.in. na uniwersytecie w Michigan, uniwersytecie w Oksfordzie, w Wharton School of Finance na uniwersytecie w Filadelfii. Był jednym z twórców Brookings Econometric Model Project, największego ekonometrycznego modelu gospodarki. Autor podręczników ekonometrii Textbook of Econometrics (1953) i An Introduction to Econometrics (1962).
