Two Trees of Valinor
In J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium, the Two Trees of Valinor are Telperion and Laurelin, the Silver Tree and the Gold that brought light to the Land of the Valar in ancient times. They were destroyed by Ungoliant at Melkor's behest, but their last flower and fruit were made by the Valar into the Moon and the Sun.

Arbres de Valinor

Valars två träd
Valars två träd heter i J.R.R. Tolkiens universum Telperion och Laurelin. Telperion var det silverskimrande av de båda, medan Laurelin var det gyllene. De sjöngs fram av valan Yavanna för att lysa upp Arda efter att Melkor hade förstört de två lamporna Illuin och Ormar.

Laurelin
Posiadało jasnozielone liście o złotych, błyszczących brzegach, a z żółtych kwiatów na ziemię spływał złoty deszcz. Deszcz ten był zbierany przez Vardę do studni wody i światła. Laurelin rozjarzał się każdego dnia na 7 godzin, a gasł o dwunastej i rozświetlał Valinor.
Inne spotykane nazwy Laurelina to Malinalda i Kulurien.

Drzewa Valinoru
Drzewa Valinoru - w fikcyjnym świecie Tolkiena dwa drzewa stworzone przez Yavannę, po zburzeniu przez Melkora Latarnii Valarów- nazywały się Telperion i Laurelin. Każde z drzew świeciło jasnym blaskiem przez 6 godzin, zawsze na godzinę przed zgaśnięciem pierwszego, drugie rozjarzało się blaskiem. Dzięki temu w Valinorze trwał nieprzerwany dzień.

Alberi di Valinor
Nelle opere letterarie di J. R. R. Tolkien, i due Alberi di Valinor sono Telperion e Laurelin, rispettivamente l' Albero d'Argento e l'Albero d'Oro che illuminavano la terra dei Valar nelle ere antiche. Furono distrutti da Melkor e Ungoliant, ma il loro ultimo fiore e il loro ultimo frutto furono usati dai Valar per creare la Luna ed il Sole.
