Lahn
The Lahn is a river in Germany, a right tributary of the Rhine. It has its source at the Ederkopf mountain in the Rothaargebirge, the highest part of the Sauerland. After 242 km it meets the Rhine at Lahnstein, near Koblenz. Important cities along the Lahn include MarburgGießenWetzlarLimburg an der LahnWeilburg and Bad Ems. The tributaries to the Lahn river include DillWeil and Aar. The river features a lot of damns with locks allowing regular shipping from its mouth up to Runkel. Riverboats are also used on small section North of the damn in Giessen.

Wleń
Wleń is a town in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland on the Bóbr river. As of December 31st, 2005, its population was 1,902. The castle of Łupki lies very close to the town's center. Before it recently crumbled, the Łupki castle's only remaining tower was visible from the town, as the picture to the right shows the former view of Wleń from the top of the tower.
