Logos
(Greek ) is an important term in philosophyanalytical psychologyrhetoric and religion. It derives from the verb lego: to say. This is the primary meaning of the word. Secondary meanings such as logic, thought etc. derive from the fact that if one is capable of λέγειν (infinitive) i.e. speech, then intelligence and thought are assumed.
