The goal scorer is no longer a starter in Czech Rep squad due to recurrent injuries. He was one of the stars of Euro ‘96, but was largely used a substitute in the competition campaign, in which he scored two goals. He scored in his international debut against Finland in 1990 and was voted Czech Player of the Year in 1994.
