Conférence des organisations non gouvernementales
Conférence des organisations non gouvernementales (CONGO) est une organisation à but non lucratif, internationale, indépendante, ayant le statut consultatif avec les Nations unies avec pour mission de faciliter la participation des ONGs à la prise de décisions et aux débats au sein de celles-ci. L’organisation est créée en 1948 et est principalement active dans les grands centres onusiens de New York, de Genève et de Vienne.

- två länder i Centralafrika på ömse sidor om Kongofloden:
- Kongo-Brazzaville (Republiken Kongo), beläget väster om Kongofloden
- Kongo-Kinshasa (Demokratiska republiken Kongo), huvudsakligen beläget öster om Kongofloden
- tidigare europeiska kolonier:
- Franska Kongo (Mellersta Kongo, Centralkongo), koloni 1880-1910 omfattande territorium som ingår i dagens Kongo-Brazzaville, Gabon och Centralafrikanska republiken, som 1910 uppgick i Franska Ekvatorialafrika
- Portugisiska Kongo, del av den tidigare portugisiska kolonien Angola, numera provinsen Cabinda i Angola
- Fristaten Kongo, belgiske kung Leopolds privatkoloni 1885-1908 motsvarande Kongo-Kinshasa

Kongo
Kongo (Congo, Republika Konga, franc. République du Congo) – państwo w środkowej Afryce nad Oceanem Atlantyckim. Graniczy z Gabonem, Kamerunem, Republiką Środkowoafrykańską, Demokratyczną Republiką Konga i Angolą.
W czasach kolonialnych występowało pod nazwą Kongo Francuskie i Kongo Środkowe, a tuż po odzyskaniu niepodległości jako Kongo-Brazzaville.

Okrety liniowe typu Kongo
Kongō (金剛) - nazwa typu japońskich krążowników liniowych, od 1931 klasyfikowanych jako szybkie pancerniki, z okresu I i II wojny światowej, składającego się z 4 okrętów: "Kongō", "Hiei", "Kirishima" i "Haruna".
