Kimono

The is the national costume of Japan. Originally the word "kimono" referred to all types of clothing, but it has come to mean specifically the full-length traditional garment worn by women, men, and children. Kimonos are T-shaped, straight-lined robes that fall to the ankle, with collars and wide, full-length sleeves. Traditionally, unmarried women wore a style of kimono called furisode, which have floor-length sleeves, on special occasions. Kimonos are wrapped around the body, always with the left side over the right (except when dressing the dead for burial) and secured by a wide belt called an obi, which is tied at the back. Kimonos are generally worn with traditional footwear (especially geta, thonged wood-platform footwear; and zori, a type of thong-like footwear) and split-toe socks (tabi).

Le kimono (en japonais : 着物, de kiru et mono, littéralement « chose que l'on porte sur soi ») est le vêtement traditionnel japonais. Il est souvent confondu, à tort, avec les vêtements d'entraînement des arts martiaux (keikogi, judogi, karategi). Avant l'introduction des vêtements occidentaux au Japon, le terme kimono désignait tous les types de vêtements ; de nos jours il se réfère à la robe traditionnelle japonaise, de forme T, portée essentiellement pour les grandes occasions.

Kimono (jap. , dt. Anziehsache von kiru = anziehen und mono = Ding) ist ein traditionelles  japanisches kaftanartiges Kleidungsstück, welches durch einen breiten Gürtel (Obi) zusammengehalten wird. Ursprünglich bezog sich das Wort Kimono auf alle Arten von Kleidungsstücken.Der heutige Kimono nahm in der Heian-Zeit (794-1192) Gestalt an. Seitdem blieb die grundlegende Form des Kimonos sowohl für Männer als auch Frauen weitgehend unverändert. Eine T-förmige, geradlinige Robe, die bis zu den Knöcheln reicht, ein Kragen sowie weite Ärmel. Wenn man die Arme waagerecht von sich streckt, fallen die Ärmel vom Handgelenk bis etwa zur Hüfte (bei einigen Stilen können die Ärmel sogar fast den Boden berühren). Die Robe ist um den Körper gewickelt, immer mit der linken Seite über die rechte. Zusammengehalten wird der Kimono von einem schärpenartigen Gürtel, dem Obi. Er wird am Rücken geknotet.

Kimono (jap.: 着物 dosłownie "coś do noszenia na sobie") – tradycyjny ubiór japoński. Pierwotnie słowem kimono określano każde ubranie, później zaczęto je stosować tylko do konkretnego ubioru, który wciąż noszony jest przez kobiety, mężczyzn i dzieci.Kimono to ubiór o kroju prostym, w kształcie litery T, przypominający nieco szlafrok. Rękawy są długie, zaś w okolicach nadgarstka także bardzo szerokie – nawet do pół metra. Według tradycji, kobiety nie mające męża powinny nosić kimono o wyjątkowo długich rękawach, sięgających niemal podłogi. Szata jest owinięta wokół ciała, przy czym lewa strona powinna być zawsze na wierzchu. Całość ubioru uzupełnia szeroki pas wiązany na plecach, zwany obi.

Il è un indumento tradizionale giapponese nonché il costume nazionale giapponese. In italiano è largamente usata anche la grafia adattata chimono.In origine il termine "kimono" veniva usato per ogni tipo di abito; in seguito è passato ad indicare specificamente l'abito lungo portato ancor oggi da persone di entrambi i sessi e di tutte le età. Il kimono è molto simile agli abiti in uso durante la dinastia cinese Tang.Il kimono è una veste a forma di T, dalle linee dritte, che arriva fino alle caviglie, con colletto e maniche lunghe. Le maniche solitamente sono molto ampie all'altezza dei polsi, fino a mezzo metro. Tradizionalmente, le donne nubili indossano kimono con maniche estremamente lunghe che arrivano fin quasi a terra, chiamato furisode. La veste è avvolta attorno al corpo, sempre con il lembo sinistro sopra quello destro (tranne che ai funerali dove avviene il contrario), e fissato da un'ampia cintura annodata sul retro chiamata obi.
