Keyboarder

A keyboardist is a musician who plays keyboard instruments. Until the early 1960s musicians who played keyboards were generally classified as either pianists or organists. Since the mid 1960s, a plethora of new musical instruments with keyboards have come into common usage, requiring a more general term for a person who plays them. En musique, un claviériste (ou, par métonymie, un clavier) est un musicien qui joue d'un instrument à clavier. Le terme « claviériste » est plus général que les termes « pianiste », « claveciniste » ou « organiste », et est souvent utilisé pour décrire quelqu'un qui joue des claviers électriques ou électroniques tels que le piano électrique, l'orgue Hammond ou divers types de synthétiseurs, mais aussi , de façon périphérique, du piano, clavecin, célesta, clavicorde ou orgue dont il ne maitrisera pas les subtilités d'interprétation. Le claviériste désigne aussi l'utilisateur de vocoder ou de workstation, notamment dans les groupes de musique électronique (par exemple : Nine Inch Nails, Kraftwerk, Avoid Catoblépone,... ).

Keyboard ist im deutschen Sprachgebrauch ein Oberbegriff für Musikinstrumente, die als elektrophone Tasteninstrumente ihre Töne elektronisch erzeugen (wie beispielsweise Synthesizer, E-Pianos oder elektronische Orgeln) oder mechanisch erzeugte Töne elektrisch abnehmen und verstärken (beispielsweise Clavinet). Bezeichnend ist in jedem Fall das Anspielen mit einer Klaviatur, die elektroakustische Wiedergabe durch oft bereits eingebaute Lautsprecher und die unproblematische Transportmöglichkeit (Portable Keyboard).
