Karadeniz

The Black Sea is an inland sea between southeastern Europe and the Anatolian peninsula (Turkey) and is ultimately connected to the Atlantic Ocean via the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas and various straits. The Bosporus strait connects it to the Sea of Marmara, then the long island-bound strait of the Dardenelles to the Aegean Sea region of the Mediterranean. These waters separate eastern Europe and western Asia. The Black sea is also connected to the Sea of Azov by the Strait of Kerch.

Morze Czarne (w starożytności: Pontus Euxinus co znaczy Morze Gościnne) jest morzem śródlądowym rozciągającym się pomiędzy Azją Mniejszą na południu, Kaukazem na wschodzie, Niziną Wschodnioeuropejską na północy i Półwyspem Bałkańskim na zachodzie. Wchodzi w skład systemu oceanicznego Oceanu Atlantyckiego.

Il mar Nero (anche noto come mar Eusino o Ponto Eusino) è un mare interno situato tra l'Europa sud-orientale e l'Asia minore; è collegato con il mar Mediterraneo tramite il Bosforo e il mar di Marmara ed al mar d'Azov tramite lo stretto di Kerch.I flussi d'acqua marina in ingresso, attraverso il Bosforo, sono di circa 200 km³ all'anno. Il suo bacino imbrifero è molto ampio (2 milioni di km²); dalle aree circostanti riceve acque dolci per un totale di circa 320 km3 all'anno. Il fiume più importante che vi sfocia è il Danubio. La sua superficie è pari a circa 424.000 km². Negli strati superiori ha una salinità pari a circa il 17‰. In profondità, oltre i 150 metri, questo valore aumenta drasticamente. Il punto più profondo si trova a 2.212 metri, mentre nel centro la profondità è di circa 1.830 metri.
