Kanten

Kanten is the name for a dessert made from agar-agar. The agar-agar is dissolved with water (or fruit juice) into a gelatine which is further seasoned with fruit, beans and/or nuts. Usually, apple juice is used to create the gelatine and raisins and aduki beans are popular to add as flavourings.
