Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT)

The first verifiable futures exchange in the United States (1856) was incorporated in 1973. Contracts on wheat and grain sorghum have been traded there for many years. The KCBT was the first exchange to introduce stock index futures (the Value Line Average); they also have an option on that futures contract.
