Kalseru

In the Australian Aboriginal mythology of Arnhem Land, Julunggul is a rainbow snake goddess, who oversaw the maturing and initiation of boys into manhood. She was a fertility goddess, associated with rebirth and the weather.She is also known as Kalseru.Julunggul also is the name of an extinct genus of madtsoiid snakes, specifically named after the Aboriginal myth.
