Kalinite is a mineral form of aluminium potassium sulfate, AlK(SO4)2 ⋅ 12H2O.This compound is used in a wide variety of processes such as the manufacture of dyes, explosives, and porcelain cement, tanning, hardening gelatin and water purification.
