The Kali Gandaki or Gandaki River (also known as the Narayani in southern Nepal and the Gandak in India) is one of the major rivers of Nepal and a left bank tributary of the Ganges in India. It is also called Krishna Gandaki in Nepal. In Nepal the river is notable for its deep gorge through the Himalayas and its enormous hydroelectric potential. It has a total catchment area of , most of it in Nepal. The basin also contains 3 of the world's 14 highest mountains over 8,000m, the three being Dhaulagiri I, Manaslu and Annapurna I. Dhaulagiri I is the highest point of the Gandaki basin. It lies between the similar Kosi system to the east and the Karnali (Ghaghara) system to the west.

Der Kali Gandaki (Nepali: , ) ist einer von vier großen Flüssen Nepals. Er entspringt in Mustang an der Grenze zu Tibet und bildet zwischen Dhaulagiri und Annapurna die tiefste Schlucht der Welt. Er fließt dort auf einer Höhenlage von 1.300-2.600 m und liegt somit 5.500-6.800 m tiefer als die Gipfel im Osten und Westen seines Flusstals . Mit seinen größeren Nebenflüssen Seti Gandaki, Madi und Budhi Gandaki entwässert der Kali Gandaki den zentralen Teil des Landes.
Kali Gandaki und der Fluss Trisuli vereinen sich zum Narayani, der zusammen mit seinem aus Osten kommenden Nebenfluss Rapti die nördliche und westliche Grenze des Chitwan Nationalparks bilden. Bei Patna mündet Narayani in den Ganges.
Über Jahrhunderte verlief entlang des Kali Gandaki eine wichtige Handelsroute zwischen Tibet und Indien, insbesondere für Salz und Reis.
