Kaio de Almeida

Kaio Márcio Ferreira Costa de Almeida (born October 19, 1984 in João Pessoa, Paraíba) is a Brazilian swimmer, who broke the 50 m butterfly world record in 25m pool (short course) on December 17, 2005 with a time of 22.60. This bettered the existing record of 22.71 of US sprinter Ian Crocker from October 2004.
