K Vijay Kumar (born 15 September 1950) is the son of Mr. Krishnan Nair(a retired police officer) and Mrs. Kousalya. He is the second son in a family of six. He graduated from St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli and then went on to complete his post-graduation from Madras Christian College .
