KLM can also refer to KLM (Human Computer Interaction) KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (in full: Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij, literally Royal Aviation Company; usual English: Royal Dutch Airlines) is an airline subsidiary of Air France-KLM based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It operates domestic and worldwide scheduled passenger and cargo services to over 90 destinations. Its main base is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (en néerlandais, Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij, litt. Compagnie d'aviation royale) est une compagnie aérienne néerlandaise créée en 1919 à Amsterdam aux Pays-Bas. En 2008, elle est basée à l'aéroport Schiphol à Amsterdam et sa flotte vole vers 131 destinations dans 65 pays différents. En 2004, KLM et Air France ont fusionné afin de créer le groupe Air France-KLM, 1 groupe aérien européen desservant 326 destinations à travers le monde via d'importantes plateformes de correspondance comme l'aéroport Roissy-Charles de Gaulle ou l'aéroport Schiphol. Membre de SkyTeam depuis septembre 2004, elle partage, depuis le , son programme de fidélisation Flying Blue avec Air France.

Die KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (niederländisch: Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V., Übersetzung: Königliche Luftfahrtgesellschaft) ist die größte niederländische Fluggesellschaft und gleichzeitig die älteste noch existierende Fluggesellschaft der Welt. Heimatflughafen und Luftfahrt-Drehkreuz der Linie ist der Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. 2004 fusionierte die KLM mit der Air France zur Air France-KLM. Aus rechtlichen Gründen müssen die beiden Gesellschaften jedoch bis 2008 getrennt weiter operieren.

Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij, KLM (Królewskie Towarzystwo Lotnicze) - holenderskie linie lotnicze, wchodzące w skład holdingu Air France-KLM. Współpracują z liniami lotniczymi Northwest Airlines. Należą również do aliansu lotniczego SkyTeam. Głównym portem jest Amsterdam-Schiphol. Jest najstarszą linią lotniczą założoną i latającą nieprzerwanie od roku 1919. Jest bardzo dobrze prosperującą linią lotniczą. Zatrudniają 30 164 pracowników, z czego 26 191 w Holandii i 3973 poza Holandią. Posiadają flotę składającą się ze 174 samolotów. Jest największą flotą kombi: 17 Boeingów 747-400 ER i trzy Boeingi 747 400 ERF. KLM posiada także udziały w takich liniach lotniczych jak KLM Cityhopper (100%), Transavia (100%), Martinair Holland (50%) i Kenya Airways (26%). Dla roku 2005/2006 przychód KLM wyniósł 540 milionów Euro.
