John F. Kennedy
John Fitzgerald Kennedy (May 291917November 221963), was the thirty-fifth President of the United States, serving from 1961 until his assassination in 1963.After Kennedy's leadership as commander of the USS PT-109 during World War II in the South Pacific, his aspirations turned political. Kennedy represented the state of Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953 as a Democrat, and in the U.S. Senate from 1953 until 1961. Kennedy defeated former Vice President and Republican candidate Richard Nixon in the 1960 U.S. presidential election, one of the closest in American history. To date, he is the only practicing Roman Catholic to be elected President and the only President to have won a Pulitzer Prize. His administration witnessed the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the building of the Berlin Wall, the Space Race, the American Civil Rights Movement and early events of the Vietnam War.

John Fitzgerald « Jack » Kennedy (29 mai 1917 – 22 novembre 1963), abrégé en JFK, est le 35  président des États-Unis. Entré en fonction le 20 janvier 1961, à l'âge de 43 ans, il est assassiné le , à l'âge de 46 ans. Plus jeune président élu, il est aussi le plus jeune à mourir en cours de mandat, assassiné moins de trois ans après son entrée à la Maison Blanche.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy (* 29. Mai 1917 in BrooklineMassachusetts; † 22. November 1963 in DallasTexas) war von 1961 bis 1963 der 35. Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten und Mitglied der Demokratischen Partei. Kennedy war der jüngste ins Amt gewählte US-Präsident und der bislang einzige Katholik in diesem Amt. Trotz seiner kurzen Präsidentschaft gilt er als einer der einflussreichsten Präsidenten der USA. Die Hintergründe  seiner Ermordung 1963 sind bis heute stark umstritten.

Candidato del Partito Democratico, vinse le Elezioni Presidenziali del 1960 e succedette al presidente Dwight D. Eisenhower. Assunse la carica il 20 gennaio del 1961 e la mantenne fino alla sua scomparsa, occorsa in seguito ad un attentato avvenuto durante una visita a Dallas. Alla sua morte, gli subentrò il vicepresidente Lyndon B. Johnson.
