The Book of Job (איוב) is one of the books of the Hebrew Bible. Job is a didactic poem set in a prose framing device. According to the Testament of Job, another name for Job is Jobab. Genesis 36:33 identifies a Jobab, as a descendant of Esau, a king of Edom.The Book of Job has been called the most difficult book of the Bible.
