For other places called Joachimsthal, see Joachimsthal (disambiguation) Jáchymov (; originally, later Sankt Joachimsthal or Joachimsthal: "Saint Joachim's Valley") is a spa town in north-west Bohemia in the Czech Republic belonging to the Karlovy Vary Region. It is situated at an altitude of 733 m above sea level in the eponymous St. Joachim's valley in the Ore Mountains, close to the border to Germany.

Jáchymov
Jáchymov (deutsch Sankt Joachimsthal) ist eine Stadt in Tschechien. Sie erstreckt sich im böhmischen Teil des Erzgebirges im Tal des Jachymovský potok (Weseritz) und gehört zum Okres Karlovy Vary. Die alte Bergstadt ist das älteste Radiumsol-Heilbad der Welt.

Jáchymov
Jáchymov (Joachimsthal en allemand) est une station thermale du nord-ouest de la Bohême en République tchèque appartenant à la région de Karlovy Vary. Située dans la vallée de Sankt Joachim dans les monts Métallifères sur le Weseritz, la ville s'appelait à l'origine Thal (vallée) puis plus tard, Sankt Joachimsthal.

Jachymów
Jachymów (czes. Jáchymov, niem. Sankt Joachimsthal) - miasto w północno-zachodnich Czechach (kraj zachodnioczeski), w Rudawach, u podnóży Klinovca.
- liczba mieszkańców: 4 tys. (1990)
Miasto górnicze znane od XVI wieku, kiedy odkryto tu bogate złoża srebra. W 1520 otrzymało prawa miejskie. Niemiecka nazwa Sankt-Joachimsthal. Moneta bita w Jachymowie od 1518 nazywana była Joachimsthaler Gulden (stąd nazwa talar, potem dolar). Ponowny rozkwit miasta w XX wieku związany jest z odkryciem rud uranu.
