Jiu jitsu
Jiu jitsu or jiu-jitsu may refer to:
- Jujutsu, martial art from Japan consisting defensive compliance techniques with blocks, strikes, throws and lock to disarm or disable an attacker.
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, martial art and combat sport, focuses on ground grappling, commonly used in mixed martial arts competitions such as UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).
- Krav Maga, noncompetitive martial art from Israel consisting defensive compliance techniques to disarm or disable an attacker.

Jiu Jitsu
Jiu Jitsu [] (jap. , ; „Die sanfte/nachgebende Kunst“) ist eine von den japanischen Samurai stammende Kampfkunst der waffenlosen Selbstverteidigung. Jiu Jitsu kann unabhängig vom Alter und Geschlecht trainiert werden und bietet ein breites Spektrum von Möglichkeiten zur Selbstverteidigung und – unter anderem durch Stärkung des Charakters und Selbstbewusstseins – auch zur friedlichen Lösung von Konflikten.

Ju-jitsu
Le ju-jitsu, ou jujutsu ou encore jiu-jitsu, regroupe des techniques de combat qui furent développées durant l'ère féodale du Japon pour se défendre lorsque l'on est désarmé. Ces techniques sont classées en 3 catégories principales : Atemi waza (technique de frappe) ; Nage waza (technique de projection) et Katame waza (technique de contrôle) afin de maîtriser un adversaire.

Jujutsu
- tradycyjna japońska sztuka walki wywodząca się od starożytnej formy walki budo, początkowo w formie zapasów. W wersji oryginalnej poza Japonią prawie nie spotykana.
Większość pozajapońskich szkół jujutsu klasyfikuje się jako nowoczesne jujutsu (modern jujutsu), które bardzo często zawierają rozwinięte techniki, elementy innych, czy lokalnych systemów walki wręcz. Ten styl bardzo często dostosowywane jest do potrzeb policji, czy wojska albo też realnej samoobrony.
