Jim Gott
James William Gott (born August 31959 in Hollywood, California), is a former professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1982-1995. He currently resides in San Marino, California. On May 12, 1985, he hit two home runs against the St. Louis Cardinals. On August 6, 1988, Gott tied a Major League record for most balks in one inning. He recorded three balks for the Pirates in the 5th inning in a loss against the New York Mets.
