Spanning from the banks of the Yangtze River in the north into hillier areas in the south, it shares a border with Anhui to the north, Zhejiang to the northeast, Fujian to the east, Guangdong to the south, Hunan to the west, and Hubei to the northwest.

Jiangxi (uttal: [tɕaŋɕi]; kinesiska: 江西; pinyin: Jiāngxī; betydelse: "väst om floden", vilket syftar på Yangtze, eller Changjiang som den heter på modern kinesiska) är en provins i Kina. Den har en yta på 166 900 km² och totalt 42 220 000 invånare (2002). Provinshuvudstad är Nanchang.
