Jesse James
Jesse Woodson James (September 5, 1847April 3, 1882) was an American outlaw, gang leader, bank robber, train robber and murderer from the state of Missouri and the most famous member of the James-Younger Gang. Already a celebrity when he was alive, he became a legendary figure of the Wild West after his death. Some recent scholars place him in the context of regional insurgencies of ex-Confederates following the American Civil War rather than a manifestation of frontier lawlessness or alleged economic justice.

Jesse James
Jesse Woodson James (* 5. September 1847 in Centerville, (später in Kearney umbenannt) im Clay County, Missouri; † 3. April 1882 in Saint Joseph, Missouri) war ein US-amerikanischer Bandit und das bekannteste Mitglied der James-Younger-Bande. Nach seinem Tod wurde Jesse James eine legendäre Figur des Wilden Westens.

Jesse James (przestepca)
Jesse James (ur. 5 września 1847 w hrabstwie Clay w stanie Missouri, zm. 3 kwietnia 1882 w St. Joseph w stanie Missouri) - amerykański bandyta, rewolwerowiec.
Urodził się w rodzinie pastora Kościoła baptystów. W czasie wojny secesyjnej (1861-1865) dołączył (wraz ze starszym bratem Frankiem) do bandy złodziei i zabójców sympatyzujących z konfederatami.
Po wojnie obaj bracia James oraz ich kuzyni nazwiskiem Younger sformowali nową bandę rabującą pociągi, dyliżanse i małe banki. Jesse James przewodził co najmniej 25 napadom w Missouri i kilku innych stanach. Zabito przy tej okazji pewną liczbę ludzi. Niektórzy piewcy legendy Dzikiego Zachodu pisali, że Jesse był bohaterem, który odbierał bogatym. W rzeczywistości był zwykłym przestępcą.
