Jacques Cartier
Jacques Cartier (December 31, 1491 –  September 1 1557) was a French navigator who first explored and described the Gulf of St-Lawrence and the shores of the Saint Lawrence River, which he named Canada.

Jacques-Cartier
Jacques-Cartier is a provincial electoral district in QuebecCanada, that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It was created in 1853.It was named after French explorer Jacques Cartier who've discovered the Saint Lawrence Valley between 1534 and 1542 in part of what would become New France until 1760.
